When Donovan Mitchell is healthy and aggressive, he can put up points with just about anyone in the NBA. It seems like he has this aggressive mindset going into the new season with a new team immediately having to make up for Darius Garland getting hurt already.
He's clicking on all cylinders, covering 30+ points in each of the 3 games so far this season averaging over 33 PPG. He's also coming off a 37 point (five 3s) OT win vs a tough, defensive Wizards unit. The Orlando Magic aren't quite as good defensively allowing 2nd most 3s to the PG position, 115.67 PPG this season and over 110 PPG on the road. Even though the Magic are 0-4, I do expect them to keep this a close game because they haven't lost by more than 15 yet this year and they will be hungry for that first win. Give me Donovan Mitchell to stay motivated at home with his new team keeping the 30+ point streak rolling vs a favorable matchup.
