MCbets' NBA Trends:
- Fred VanVleet (TOR)
First up we look at Fred VanVleet's points line as the Raptors take on the spurs. It's sitting at 22.5 and he has cleared that line in 7 of his L10. Great matchup for FVV tonight as the Spurs are dead last in the NBA in Points, giving up over 120 per game. Specifically to the PG Position they rank 28th. In recent games against bottom 10 defenses, FVV has cleared this line with ease. He dropped 28 vs the 25th ranked Warriors, 32 vs the 24th ranked Rockets and 34 against the 20th ranked Jazz.
Taking it one step further he thrives against teams that give up the three, obviously. He has also cleared this points line against the Knicks and Timberwolves over his last 10 as those squads rank in the bottom 8 defending the three pointer. The Spurs give up the three as well, approaching 13 per game.
- Terry Rozier (CHA)
Next up were looking at Terry Rozier and his Points + Rebounds line. Currently sitting at 26.5 he has cleared that in six straight and 9/10. Over his six straight streak he is averaging 30 PR. Playing time is not a concern for Scary Terry as he is consistently seeing 35 mins per game and with the fast paced nature of the Hornets offense always gets more possessions and opportunities to clear this line. Washington is in the middle of the pack in rebounds allowed so we're looking for him to duplicate his last game vs WSH where he grabbed 5 boards. Theres no reason Terry wont end up in the 20-22 point range tonight as the Wiz give up 113 ppg. He scored 25 points vs Washington on Dec 2 so let's hope we get that kind of volume again.
- Mike Conley (UTA)
Lastly I'm looking at Mike Conley and his assists. He's averaging 10 over his last 5 and 8 over his last 10, and yet his line remains at 7.5. Clearing in 5 straight and 8/L10 the Jazz are facing a Timberwolves squad who gives up the 23rd most threes in the league. Look for Conley to find Clarkson and Markkanen behind the arc to pad these assist stats.
