FlashPicks NFL Power Rankings - Week 18

1) BALTIMORE RAVENS (13-4) ↔

The best record in the NFL, the top seed in the AFC, the MVP favorite leading the charge.
Baltimore finish the regular season on top of the FlashPicks Power Rankings. Anything else now will just be a bonus…

2) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (12-5) ↔

The NFC top seeds and favorites with the bookmakers. A team littered with stars including the NFL’s rushing leader, Christian McCaffrey. They can go all the way.

3) BUFFALO BILLS (11-6) ↔

A hot streak that saw them rise from Playoff outsiders to the second seed in the AFC, stampeding past the Dolphins to claim their fourth straight divisional title. Feared.

4) DALLAS COWBOYS (12-5) ⬆1️⃣

Clinched the NFC East and second seed in the NFC. Ceedee Lamb has been a star all year, but it’s the defense that can really help the Cowboys make a run.

5) MIAMI DOLPHINS (11-6) ⬇1️⃣

Tua led the league in passing yards, Tyreek Hill led the league in receiving yards, Raheem Mostert led the league in rushing touchdowns. There is plenty to like about the Dolphins and their red-hot offense.

6) DETROIT LIONS (12-5) ↔

Whatever happens this year, it’s been a memorable one for the Lions. A first ever NFC North title, a first divisional title since 1993 and a chance to flex their muscles in the postseason.

7) KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (11-6) ↔

Eight AFC West titles in a row for the Kansas City Chiefs and we know we’re never too far away from some Mahomes magic in the Playoffs. Not the best season, but they have a chance.

8) CLEVELAND BROWNS (11-6) ⬆1️⃣

Who had Joe Flacco leading a team to the Playoffs on their NFL bingo card? The Browns mean business – they’ve even taken down the two top seeds in the regular season. Ones to watch.

9) LOS ANGELES RAMS (10-7) ⬆1️⃣

Puka Nacua has been the star of the show, breaking rookie records as the Rams enter the Playoffs with serious momentum. An 8-1 finish sets them up nicely for the postseason.

10) HOUSTON TEXANS (10-7) ⬆4️⃣

They did it! DeMeco Ryans and CJ Stroud became the first rookie Head Coach/Quarterback duo to win a division in the Super Bowl era. It’s an exciting time to be a Texans fan.

11) PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (11-6) ⬇3️⃣

Philly can do just about nothing right at the moment. They threw away the division and stuttered over the finish line, but there’s worse things than a trip to the NFC South winners. Who are…

12) TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (9-8) ⬇1️⃣

It works both ways. Tampa will fancy their chances of taking down the Eagles after retaining their NFC South title – not that they made it easy for themselves.

13) GREEN BAY PACKERS (9-8) ⬇1️⃣

What a first full year for Jordan Love, guiding the Packers to the Playoffs with their customary win over the Bears. Matt LaFleur’s done a great job with a young team. The future’s bright.

14) PITTSBURGH STEELERS (10-7) ⬆3️⃣

How do they do it?! Mike Tomlin with another winning season despite the QB issues, and the Steelers squeezed into the Playoffs on a dramatic end to the regular season.

15) INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (9-8) ↔

The Colts would probably be prepping for the Playoffs if rookie QB Anthony Richardson hadn't suffered a season-ending injury in Week 5. The AFC South quarterback battle could be fun for many years to come.

16) SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (9-8) ↔

Defeat in Week 17 cost the Seahawks dear, narrowly missing out on the postseason as a result. Plenty of talent in Seattle, but a few holes that need filling too.

17) CINCINNATI BENGALS (9-8) ⬆4️⃣

Not the season that Cincinnati wanted. But even with Jake Browning in at QB, they showed they were made of sterner stuff. Burrow and the Bengals will be back and in business next season.

18) NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (9-8) ↔

Saints lining up in victory formation against rivals Atlanta, on the final play of Week 18, then running it in for a TD. That’s the lasting memory we’ll take from a mixed season.

19) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (9-8) ⬇6️⃣

What the hell happened here? From an 8-3 record and total control of the AFC South, to a final-day loss and missing out on the postseason altogether. Let the inquest begin.

20) MINNESOTA VIKINGS (7-10) ⬇1️⃣

Big injuries derailed the Vikings’ season – with Josh Dobbs, Nick Mullens and Jared Hall failing to make up for Kirk Cousins’ absence. Justin Jefferson still made 1,000 yards despite only playing 10 games. They’ll be back.

21) CHICAGO BEARS (7-10) ⬆3️⃣

Decision time in Chicago. The Bears finished strong and possess the Number 1 pick in the NFL Draft. Will they grab their QB of the future… or is Justin Fields the guy?

22) LAS VEGAS RAIDERS (8-9) ⬆1️⃣

Raiders rallied for head coach Alec Pierce, wrapping up the season with a win over the Broncos. Lots of work to do in Vegas after a middle-of-the-road campaign.

23) DENVER BRONCOS (8-9) ⬇1️⃣

A messy start. A hot streak. Then… a hot mess. Who knows what’s going on in Denver, with Sean Payton saying no decision has been made over Russell Wilson.

24) ATLANTA FALCONS (7-10) ⬇4️⃣

A shambolic end to the season, for which Head Coach Arthur Smith has paid the price. Atlanta’s got talent. But not at quarterback. Decision time with the eighth pick in the Draft.

25) NEW YORK GIANTS (6-11) ↔

Where do the Giants go from here? A crushing defeat of the Eagles to finish, but Saquon Barkley’s time in New York could be up and the QB position is uncertain.

26) NEW YORK JETS (7-10) ↔

What could have been for the Jets? Aaron Rodgers may have made all the difference had he not gone down in Week 1. Let’s see what he can do next year.

27) LOS ANGELES CHARGERS (5-12) ↔

All change in Los Angeles this summer, with a General Manager and Head Coach search under way. Just find a way to protect Justin Herbert. Please.

28) TENNESSEE TITANS (6-11) ↔

Mike Vrabel is gone. A shock departure despite owning the only losing record in the AFC South. With Derrick Henry’s exit looking likely too, it’s time for change.

29) ARIZONA CARDINALS (4-13) ↔

Some signs of encouragement for the Cardinals, who nearly ended the season with back-to-back wins had it not been for a last-second FG miss against the Seahawks.

30) NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (4-13) ↔

Bill Belichick lost his proud home record against the Jets on a snowy season finale. There’s a lot to unpack in New England. Let’s see what the offseason brings.

31) WASHINGTON COMMANDERS (4-13) ↔

A new era in the capital with Ron Rivera’s departure confirmed on Black Monday. Is it also time to move on from Sam Howell? No QB threw more interceptions this season.

32) CAROLINA PANTHERS (3-14) ↔

An awful season ends by failing to score a point in their final two outings. And they don’t even get first pick in the Draft.
