On this rare day with no NBA, I was able to dig further into NHL than I normally am able to. I found a prop in a market that I have never written about, so let’s get our feet wet.
@RyanPropz' NHL Goalie Prop Pick - 11/8

St. Louis Blues (3-7-0) @ Philadelphia Flyers (6-3-2)
Carter Hart was a massive prospect for the Flyers for many years and got off to such a strong start to his career. He had a terrific postseason run in the 19-20 season, then followed it up with back to back down years. The Flyers have not done Carter many favors by putting talent in front of him, however this year he is reminding Hockey fans why he was so highly regarded.
He is 6-0-2 with a 1.97 GA/G average.
He is stopping 94.6% of shots come his way, despite being peppered in shots:
- 35 saves on 37 shots vs NJ
- 28 saves on 30 shots vs VAN
- 36 saves on 38 shots vs TB
- 31 saves on 32 shots vs NSH
- 48 saves on 51 shots vs FLA
- 34 saves on 38 shots vs CAR
- 35 saves on 36 shots vs NYR
- 33 saves on 34 shots vs OTT
Tonight he faces the Blues. St. Louis is not a strong offense. They are last in the league with 22 goals, and average the 8th least shots on goal per game. With that said, they are still sending 29.3 shots on goal. Against a Flyers defense that allows the 3rd most shots on goal per game at 36.45, I found a number that caught my eye.
Fanduel hung a 27.5 saves line for Carter Hart. It is a number he has hit in every start this season, and I like his chances to do it again vs this offense.
