No. 24 South Florida vs. North Texas
- Byrum Brown, OVER 63.5 rushing yards at 63.5 at -117
- South Florida-North Texas OVER 68.5 at -110
- SGP Odds: +179
Brown is USF’s leading rusher with 282 yards on 64 carries. The Bulls will likely want to get him and the running game on track early to take advantage of a weak UNT run defense and to keep the North Texas passing game on the sideline. Both teams have good offenses and defenses.
What they excel at on offense, the other team’s defense struggles with. So, I’m expecting this to be a relatively high-scoring game with both teams scoring in the mid to high 30s. North Texas has struggled against the run this season. USF will probably want to take advantage of this to keep the UNT passing game off the field.
Rutgers vs. Washington
- Demond Williams Jr., OVER 261 passing yards at -115
- Jonah Coleman, UNDER 101.5 rushing yards at -115
- SGP Odds: +229
Rutgers has been terrible against the pass this year. Washington has one of the most efficient passing games in the country. That efficiency will make it easy for them to go over their season average (255.2) and OVER this TOTAL.
Coleman went OVER this TOTAL in his first two games but didn’t come close in the last three, all Big Ten opponents. He probably would have had he gotten the bulk of the carries, but he’s essentially splitting them with Demond Williams Jr. He will not get enough carries to crack 100 yards against a decent Rutgers run defense.
