Apparently, all the Rangers’ top scorer needed was a change of scenery. After 2 quiet skates in Raleigh, Kreider flipped a switch, attempting 10 shots, landing 4 on net, and scoring the game winning goal in his return to Manhattan. In hindsight, Kreider’s drastic turnaround was somewhat telegraphed based on his home/road splits. In the last 5 years (since May 2017), he finished with:
