The Caps are sitting in the last wild card in the East. They do have a solid cushion but they will not be taking any chances. They will look to keep adding to their points in the standings, and get a solid opportunity to find the back of the net often tonight. The Devils are 29th in goals allowed and expected to have Nico Daws in the crease tonight. Nico has had a very tough time on the road this season. Overall he has allowed 3.9 goals per game in his road appearances. I will ride the hot hand on the Caps and look towards Evgeny Kuznetsov to get us a point. He recorded at least a point in 10 straight games. He also has recorded a point in 72% of games in Washington this season. This is a great spot for Evgeny to continue his streak.

A Flames home game…you probably know where this is going. I am going back to my old friend, Elias Lindholm. He has a point in 84% of home games, including 19 of the last 20 games in Calgary. The Oilers are 21st in goals allowed this season. The 40 year old Mike Smith is the projected goalie tonight. Similar to Daws, he also has struggled on the road this season. He allows 3.47 goals per game on the road, so I love this spot for Elias to come through for us yet again.
