Kansas 5-2 is headed to Baylor 3-3 for a Big 12 showdown. Kansas is coming off a 10pt loss to Oklahoma. Their defense got exposed, giving up huge plays and 52 points overall. They definitely have issues but their offense hasn't skipped a beat scoring 42 last week even without star QB Jalon Daniels. The main reason is great play from backup QB Jason Bean who brings experience and a cannon for an arm. That works well when you have 5 different receivers all over double digit catches and 200+yards each to throw too, going against an 87th ranked passing defense. Baylor is coming off 2 straight losses where their defense hasn't looked good at all giving up 36 and 42.
Their main problem seems to be tackling. Yes overall the stats look great for the defense but if you take out the 2 bullshit games the real number starts to show and it isn't great. That and the offense isn't out of this world either especially since their main starting QB Blake Sharpen isn't fully healthy and questionable to whether he will play. Granted they have a great opportunity to get right vs a bad Kansas Defense. I think Baylor will try to run the ball and control the clock/possessions for Kansas. That won't matter much because Kansas will take advantage of the opportunities they get and keep it a 1 score game and cover the +10.
