Not worried about his past performances in the last 10 games, DeMar has gotten some tough matchups recently & you may be thinking are the Bucks not a tough matchup?
Well the Bucks have 2 AMAZING defenders in Holiday & Lopez while Lopez loves to stop drives inside this works perfectly for Demar as he lives in the Mid-Range & with Jrue on Lavine this will leave DeroZan with a mismatch we have seen him go for 44 & 47 Pts+Ast in two matchups against Milwaukee even Jrue at 6'3 struggles to contest him in the Mid-Range. The Bucks have been allowing the #13 most PPG to #2 options which is basically what DeRozan has become with Lavine taking control but with Lavine not going over 22 in any of his 3 matchups against Milwaukee even in 1 he played without DeroZan this is just a tough matchup for him with Jrue on him & Brook inside he does not live in the Mid-Range as much as DeroZan & Crowder will likely guard him who is an alright defender DeRozan has dropped 35+ in his last 2 matchups against Crowder its not like we are talking about a lockdown defender by any means.
In the last 30 days the Milwaukee Bucks have been the #1 fastest pace in the NBA this only works to DeroZan's advantage as a quicker Milwaukee offense means more possessions for the Bulls which theoretically would lead to more FGAs from DeroZan at least we hope. We have seen DeRozan have previous success against the Bucks & Crowder who likely guards him, he is the opposite kind of player for this Bucks team to effect dropping 29+ in his last 5/6 matchups against the Bucks & the one game he went under he shot 23 FGAs & had 21 PTS to go for it, if he is shooting 23 FGAs I will live with the result regardless because more times than not he will go over his line.
