@AustinsProps' NBA Friday Play of the Day - 1/13

Has Austin been killing these Play of the Days or what?! His new pick for Friday's NBA action should be a fun one as we get Trae Young vs Tyrese Haliburton.

We’re coming off a victory with Dallas -2.5 in a thrilling double overtime matchup. Tonight we look to continue that and I’m going with my favorite play on the board Atlanta -2 on the road in Indiana. This one is fairly simple for me and I’m not going to allow myself to overthink it. Looking at the lineups Indiana is just so banged up and I think they struggle keeping up with scoring with this Hawks team. The Pacers will be without Tyrese Haliburton and I’m interested to see how this offense flows without their number 1 usage player. They also could be without Myles Turner and Aaron Nesmith and if they miss I see this line shifting around -6.5.

The Pacers have won 6 straight games so on paper I understand the concern, however with how long this injury report is they just simply are too shorthanded. This is the Hawks 5th road game in a row and they should look to end this road trip on a positive note. They’re the healthier team and I look for Trae Young to have a monster night.
