Austin is well-rested after the All-Star break and ready to finish the season strong. He's kicking it off with an NBA Play of the Day for Friday's slate - let's start another hot streak!

It’s Friday and we have the weekend to pay for. Today my favorite play is the Cavs ML against the Atlanta Hawks. Cleveland is coming off back to back losses and I think this is a bounceback spot for them that they need to utilize. They currently are battling for playoff positioning and have to be able to win games like these against 50/50 opponents. I typically don’t love backing road teams coming off of a loss but in this case I just think Cleveland I by far the better team and I expect them to get the job done tonight.

Atlanta will be missing John Collins which will be a huge blow to this team defensively. They also just release head coach Nate McMillian so it’ll be interesting seeing how this team goes moving forward. I’d expect to see early struggles which is one reason I love this spot tonight.

The Hawks have been by far my favorite team to fade this season as they lack any sort of consistency. Let’s not overthink this and let's ride with who is by far the better roster. Give me the Cavs ML.
