SUBSCRIBE TODAYI want to start us off by saying that I believe this will be a close game and should result in a 35+ minute outing for Evan Mobley especially with Kevin Love out and Donovan Mitchell doubtful.
Despite playing 33 minutes yesterday, he's played 35+ minutes in the last 3 backends of a back to back, averaging 37 MPG. Including 38 minutes in the last one, dropping 38 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists vs a tough Bucks squad and altogether averaging 34.33 points, rebounds assists in his last 6 back to backs.
One of those matchups was vs the Thunder without Kevin Love or Donovan Mitchell where he dropped 36 PRA. Evan Mobley has the best matchup out of his teammates with OKC allowing the 7th most points, 2nd most rebounds, and 11th most assists to PF. He's also been hot recently averaging 35.33 PRA per game. Without Kevin Love and Donovan Mitchell (especially recently) not only does his shot volume go up, but so do his assists. He gets an uptick in usage allowing him to make more plays resulting in more shots.
Give me the uptick in volume for Evan Mobley with the best matchup vs a team he's done well against already this year. Best odds on FD, but I'm good with his normal line at 31.5 as well.
