No shade to Jarred Vanderbilt, but the Jazz went on a tough losing streak losing 7 out of 8 games from December 26th to January 7th and have won their last 4 of 6 games after taking Jarred Vanderbilt out of the starting lineup.

Since then Lauri Markkanen has grabbed 10+ boards in every game averaging 12.75 rebounds per game. On top of that, the Hornets play a very fast paced game allowing the 5th most rebounds to the power forward position. This is also a direct correlation of Colin Sexton's return. He's back on the squad and he doesn't rebound at all. Lauri Markkanen has hit in his last 6 of 7 games with Sexton averaging 12.83 rebounds per game and the one time he missed Jarred Vanderbilt started.
