YA’LL MUST’VE FORGOT. The books with a very disrespectful line here because Shai had two bad games with what seems to be rock bottom last game. Shai just scored 12 points and OKC got blown out by the Thunder. Shai didn’t even see the 4th quarter! His pride should kick in here like it has every time he has scored less than 20 or fewer points.
Over the last 2 seasons here are his 11 games after scoring 20 or less: 31, 37, 31, 33, 30, 32, 30, 33, 30, 37, 33. The key here is his volume… he just tries much harder. He averages about 32 field goal/free throw attempts compared to his normal 28 average. He didn’t get doubled last game vs NO and it hurts them to not have Brandon Ingram’s length.
