Ja Morant and the Grizzlies are coming to a small boiling point now that they've lost 3 straight to teams they should've beat including getting blown out by 33 to the Kings (Ja didn't play).
Ja Morant has not been hitting this line, but there's a reason why the books gave us this line. Let me explain:
The matchup will be fast paced with the Warriors ranking 1st and the Grizzlies ranking 5th in pace. Ja Morant had 36 and 8 in his only game vs the Warriors this season, but tonight he will be without Steven Adams and the Warriors have been going small starting Draymond Green at Center. Ja has only played 4 games without Adams this season and hit this line in 3 of them including 43 and 39 points/assists in his last 2. Last, but not least, Ja Morant is rested after not playing for 4 days and averages 34 points and 6 assists when he rest 3 or more days in between games.
Give me Ja on ESPN for a little redemption to break the 3 game skid in a fast paced matchup without Steven Adams. I'd play this up to 37.5 (already 38.5 on FD).
