DāAngelo Russell has been absolutely cooking teams even when Anthony Edwards has gone off. Heās covered this line in his last 4 of 5 games averaging 29.4 points and assists per game all while Edwards dropped 31 and 44 in his last 2 (Russell hit in both).Ā
Brandon Ingram is back and Herb Jones will probably be on Anthony Edwards leaving Russell with the favorable matchup vs CJ. Even if Edwards does go off again Russell has a good matchup for assists. The Pelicans allow the 4th most assists and heās covered his 6.5 assists line in his last 4 of 5 games. Not to mention Russell covered this line his last two vs New Orleans with CJ (& Kat & Ingram) in the lineup averaging 29.5 points and assists per game.
With Karl Anthony Towns still out and Edwards drawing a bad matchup, give me Russell to keep doing what heās doing.
