AustinsProps' NBA Tuesday Play of the Day - 12/20

NBA Tuesday is here and Austin is looking to stay hot!

We nailed yesterday’s line with the Magic +7.5 as they win that matchup outright. Today we look to build off that as we are taking in the last three seasons the best home spread covering team in the NBA. I’m liking the Suns -6.5 against a struggling Wizards team who could be without their best player in Kristaps Porzingis.

The Wizards have had a brutal stretch as this will be there 4th straight road game and you can tell they’re ready to get back to DC. The Suns are on there 3rd straight home game and they’re coming off back to back wins where both spreads were covered with ease. This spot is simply trusting the better team to perform and if all of the Suns starters play I think they should do excellent at containing WAS scorers. The Suns will matchup Beal likely with Bridges who has been really solid in past matchups.

Another benefit of this matchup is how poorly the Wizards have performed on the road. This is a brutal place to play especially for teams who struggle on the road, and like mentioned earlier if all Suns starters are good to go they should have no trouble handling this struggling Wizards team.
