Capper Penguin's NBA Tuesday Player Prop Pick #2 - 1/17

Capper Penguin gave us a second pick for tonight's NBA action - we're looking at Spicy P of the Toronto Raptors with this one!

Pascal Siakam hard CARRIES the Raptors on back-to-backs averaging 44.25 points rebounds assists per game and I expect him to do the same vs a Bucks team that will be without Giannis once again.

A big reason for this is the fact that Fred VanVleet usually has low volume on back to back games. He has downticks in almost every statistical category while maintaining similar minutes. Meanwhile, Pascal has an uptick in every category. Pascal averaged 19.5 field goal attempts in back to back games, 16 rebounds and assists, and played 40+ minutes in 3 of his 4 of them. I expect another 40+ minute game with the Raptors not playing again until Friday.

Pascal's volume has been there the past few games, he's just missing more shots than normal. In the last two games he's shot 12 for 35 (34.29% FG%) and 0 for 11 from 3. He averages 18.5 field goal attempts per game on the season, but usually makes 47.5% of them. Once he starts hitting his jumpers the Raptors will be in business and he has a strong chance to get back on track vs Bobby Portis this evening at home. Last time Portis started at Center Pascal dropped 33, 6, and 6 PRA and Bobby has started at Center in this stretch without Giannis.

Again this line is too low for me and for the first time ever let's hope to cash for two straight nights on the same guy's PRA.
