I think we’ve seen what these two teams are and can do, and it should be worrying Heat fans. Even minus Marcus Smart and Horford it took a monster 3rd quarter for the Heat to take control of Game 1. When the Celtics are at full strength the shooters are too much for Miami to keep up with. Without Smart it was easy for the Heat to take advantage of mostly subpar ball handlers and now they don’t have an answer. The X factor here is Bam Adebayo who hasn’t looked like the dominant center he was this season. A big part of that is the excellent end to end play from Robert Williams who has the athletic ability to keep up. The talent of the big men on the bench like Horford and even Theis make it impossible to go big on the Celtics. There just aren’t weaknesses on this team. With all the momentum coming into Boston, it’s hard to imagine this one doesn’t lean heavy towards the Celtics.
