Atomic's NBA Friday Best Bet: Raptors @ Lakers - 3/10

Atomic is all over Spicy P with this pick for Friday's late night NBA action as the Raptors visit the Lakers!

Will be going to Pascal Siakam in the perfect spot for him to get some rebounds some may be concerned as he has been going under the last 3 games & will play with Poeltl. Poeltl will be having to defend Anthony Davis which will leave Pascal open to crash the boards likely guarding a player who can not shoot like Vanderbilt. Pascal is over in his last 4/7 games with Poeltl and has been seeing similar rebound chances the Lakers are giving up the #3 most rebounds per game so this is just an amazing matchup for rebounds. The Lakers are giving up the #3 most Rebounds per game to Power Forwards +1.18 over the L30D so they have been giving up a ton of rebounds and specifically to power forwards as Vanderbilt cannot really shoot so Pascal is able to crash the glass. Pascal is over in 68% of games and as mentioned previously is seeing pretty similar rebound chances with Poetl I would’ve gone 1U if we had a larger sample but this spot is still to good to not play.

Pascal has been averaging 12.3 Reb Chances per game and 7.3 rebounds on those chances since they acquired Poetl he is at 6.1 rebounds on 10 chances so he is basically getting a rebound fewer it is just a small sample size & the Lakers are just the perfect matchup for Siakam to actually get rebounds we saw Jaren Jackson Jr get 8 rebounds against them last game which is way above his average as mentioned earlier Poetl will be busy having to contest Davis who is now having a higher usage without Lebron which will leave Siakam on low usage Vanderbilt where he can easily crash for the rebounds that is what I am predicting will happen in this one as it has been happening in former laker games.
